BIG IRAN PAPER HITS MOSSADEGH

AP (The Associated Press) TEHERAN, IRAN, MAY 18 (AP) — The newspaper Keyhan charged today that Premier Mohammed Mossadegh was mishandling the oil nationalization and driving Iran to economic collapse. The attack is considered significant here because the paper, one of the most powerful in Iran, has formerly been counted on Dr. Mossadegh’s side. The editorial was published about a week before the Premier is scheduled to leave for The Hague to argue Iran’s oil case before the International Court of Justice.
